A little piece of Europe” is memoir relationship with travel Natalia Gadomska with Piaszczyce, which are preserved in the Archive resources Potockich and Ostrowskich of Maluszyn, stored in the State Archive in Łódź. Analyzing nineteenth-century text diary reader can bring a form of Natalia Gadomski and her family and close and distant relatives. Natalia Gadomska grew up in Piaszczycach and Maluszynie, alongside companion playground and science Maria Ostrowska and under the care and supervision of educational uncle and aunt (Helen and Alexander Ostrowski, owners Maluszyn), there studied at the range of available girls home education. Thanks to a lucky coincidence Natalia Gadomska went on a trip „to Europe” with his aunt and uncle (Marianną and Antonim Szołowskimi), as a person companion. In his diary Natalia Gadomska concluded fairly extensive account of the trip and stay at the fashionable spa town of Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary), through Breslau (Wrocław), Berlin and Dresden (Dresden). Very interesting journey that takes us author of the diary after reading a text takes into account both the existential experience of Miss Gadomska, as well as the cultural context and historiographical.
