Wietnamczycy w Republice Czeskiej. Między izolacją a integracją
In the second half of the twentieth century saw a rapid development of the Vietnamese
immigration to the Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia). Today, as
a result of migration, the Vietnamese constitute one of the largest ethnic minority
groups in the Czech Republic. This is a group with a specific position and character.
On one side, the Vietnamese community has a typical immigrant character,
and on the other side, since 2013 Vietnamese people are considered to as a national
minority. Therefore, their situation could described as a state of suspension
between isolation and integration.
