Studia miejskie – nowe nurty badawcze jako wyzwanie dla kształcenia uniwersyteckiego

Urban growth is currently at the heart of multiple studies, as towns and cities face various challenges of economic, social and spatial nature. Consequently new research trends and theories emerge in urban economics. They are pinpointed and briefly described in the paper. As a result the authors focus on possible implications of the contemporary theoretical findings to education in Spatial Economics and Economics. A brief description of the study curriculum is proposed to ignite discussion over the needed content shift in university education related to urban economics.
