Ośmiodekadowy przetwornik logarytmujący do elektrometrii
The electrometric logarithmic converters of two inputs can be used for comparisons and measurements of very small currents and very high resistances. The basic advantages of this converters are compression of the signal dynamic and eliminate of the ranges switching as well as reduction of some errors. The author tested the model of such converter and the paper concerns the analysis of results for future work in this area. Processed range of current is 1 pA-100 μA, resolution of 0,6% and the sensitivity is not worse than 0,1 pA. The range for the resistance at a voltage of 100V is 1 MΩ-100 TΩ, and the distinguishes level above 1 PΩ. When processing two currents from independent sources their permissible ratio can have in practice the value 10 (sub-5)-10(sub)5, and resistors 10(sub-9)-10 (sub9) at the applied voltages interval (0,1-1000)V.
