System monitorowania i ograniczania udźwigu
W artykule zaprezentowano koncepcję, wybrane wyniki badań oraz aspekty realizacyjne unikalnego systemu przeznaczonego do monitorowania i aktywnego ograniczania udźwigu. System ten jest stosowany w pojazdach specjalnych typu MONTRAKS produkowanych przez Przemysłowy Instytut Maszyn Budowlanych w Kobyłce. W artykule przedstawiono problemy techniczne, metodyczne, metrologiczne oraz wybrane aspekty bezpieczeństwa funkcjonalnego pojazdu.
The idea, chosen research results as well as implementation aspects of the unique system for the monitoring and active load limiting issues is presented in this paper. System has been implemented in the series of specialised vehicles called MONTRAKS manufactured by the Construction Equipment Research Institute in Kobyłka, Poland. These vehicles are primary intended for servicing the municipal tramway traction networks. MONTRAKS vehicle is provided with the aerial work platform. Hence, the one of the most important issues here is the insurance of the safety of the operators that typically are working on this platform. Overloading of the platform during operation may cause the loose of vehicle's stability. The paper describes briefly the development of the load limiter that prevents of appearing of such dangerous events. The paper is structured as follows. In Sect. 1, the MONTRAKS vehicle is described briefly (Figs. 1, 2). Sect. 2 refers to the functional safety aspects related with the vehicle, as well as lists the measures that should be undertaken to improve the vehicle's safety. Sect. 3 describes shortly the load limiter architecture (Fig. 3) while in Sect. 4 the functionalities of the load limiter are explained. Sect. 5 characterises the smart strain gauge load cells used for load measurements. Sect. 6 refers to the simplified analysis of the load of the measurements while Sect. 7 shows the chosen laboratory results of the load limiter investigations (Figs. 8, 9). In Sect. 8 the summary of the paper is given.
